2. Thursday 19th June Golden Cross pub, Hay Lane, Coventry at 8.00pm
We are sending a message to branch members concerning a future potential beer festival in Coventry.
A successful beer festival depends on a host of key volunteers, from planning beforehand, set-up at the venue, a multitude of roles during the festival and taking it all down again. Some people throw themselves in from the get-go until the site is cleared, others may only be able to help for a few hours during the process; everyone is just as important to the success of a festival. It’s all a lot of work but it is a lot of fun too: A chance to learn new or apply long- standing skills and to be part of a friendly, welcoming team.
We need help to be able to deliver a CAMRA beer festival in Coventry. It’s been a while since our last one and we need to build the crew almost from scratch. Interested in helping or just curious? We are holding a meeting to discuss the viability of staging a festival. Please join us on 19 June on the first floor of the Golden Cross pub, Hay Lane, Coventry at 8.00pm. No previous experience is required, and any help would be greatly appreciated. Alternatively, you can register an interest in volunteering by sending an email to ku.gro.armac.yrtnevoc@tcatnoc
Looking forward to seeing you!
Thanks branch committee
