See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
A modern pub built in the late 1980s by Banks's with a single bar serving a large room. Close to historic Spon Street and the city centre, it is popular with shoppers and workers giving it a mix of clientele. Recently refurbished, the pub is bright and welcoming inside - the illuminated clock in the alcove a feature. There is live music on Saturday evenings and a large screen used occasionally for big sporting events. Real ale is supplemented by up to four real ciders.
